A fourth-generation Floridian with a lifelong love for the ocean, wildlife, and the outdoors, Blair Mase Guthrie has built her career around protecting and restoring the natural world. For more than 30 years, Blair served with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), specializing in marine mammal health, rescue, and response—work that solidified her reputation as a dedicated conservation leader.
Today, as Suda’s Ecology and Community Program Lead, Blair brings her deep environmental expertise and passion for community connection to every project. She leads initiatives that integrate ecological stewardship, cultural heritage, and community values into place-based development, ensuring Suda’s destinations are sustainable, authentic, and shaped by the people they serve. Blair’s enduring commitment to conservation and her belief in the power of community shine through in everything she does.
